Four out of five Americans shopping at online retail stores

According to this report from comScore, 4 out 5 Americans visited a retail website during November 2009. Toysrus was the top-gaining property, followed by Lego, Disney, and AmericanGirl.com  Consumer electronics sites were led by BestBuy.com and Walmart Electronics, drawing respectively over 25 million and 10 million visitors.  Even traditional brick-and-mortar retailers Target and JC Penney saw more than 30 million visitors in November.
 
Economic conditions caused a spike in coupon and incentive sites EverSave.com and RetailMeNot, while BlackFriday.info received a massive surge to over 5 million visitors.
 
On Cyber Monday, the Monday following Thanksgiving, over 50 percent of all online purchases on Cyber Monday were made from work computers.
